True Confessions of a Lightwave Animator
Scene #2
[[[Note: I love our PAR and have used it for a year now,
thru 3 or so software upgrades, so this was all new!
The PAR was our biggest step up <providing financial rewards>.
and owe a great deal of our success to this product,
not to mention, the AMIGA, Toaster, & Lightwave.]]]
I was rendering some frames, using the toaster board as a test,
everything looked fine. I started to render to the PAR.
With Med res, and low antialiasing on, i couldn't understand
why I would see jaggies on chrome edge/magblue BG?
I had turned field rendering on, and decided to turn it off,
the object was moving fast in the near right corner!
No matter what scene <from any of our animations>
were sent to the PAR, jaggie city?
Cold boots, warm boots? no change?
Ooooooooopppps perhaps I should tell you that I had tried a
HD Cleanup 3 weeks ago, and it failed in the middle of it?
and no loss of anims <TG>
I backed up all the anims on our 1.6 gig drive and
reinstalled some older software 2.25,
and after a reboot, everything was 'back to normal'!
<After this job is accepted I will re-install the 2.51 software,
or whatever is available, and reformat the drive!
Gotta love this stuff>
